Through Ages and Ages Eternal

This poem tells about a person’s life on earth. It started out with how a man was born. Then the following details are the continuous bloom of a man’s knowledge and perceptions. Next that were mentioned are the struggles and conflicts that man usually face in life. This poem really shows the reality of life.
There was a part wherein Pedroche said that men, who were once united, started to kill each other and develop conflict with one another. This part of the poem clearly reflects what is currently happening in our world today. People kill each other for illogical reasons. This is such a sad reality. Even though these problems continuously affect us, Pedroche believed that there is always hope in everything. Since man is a very strong person, he has a tendency to never give up and continue to fight to achieve the peaceful and brighter side of life: a stable life we all dream to have.
